Kari Collins has been named community development director for Roseville.
The 32-year-old Maplewood native was appointed to the position last week.
Collins has served on an interim basis in the role since March, when Roseville’s former community development director, Paul Bilotta, announced his resignation.
Bilotta left to take a position in Oregon, the city reported.
Collins’ work history includes serving in the community development field for the city of Milwaukee before landing a job as Roseville’s assistant to the city manager and city clerk in 2012.
She received her master’s degree in urban studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her bachelor’s degree from Augsburg College.
