A second person has been charged with the fatal shooting of a Roseville man outside an apartment building in the fall of 2017, authorities say.
Suvwe Peter Ighovojah, 27, was indicted by a Ramsey County grand jury late last month with four counts of murder in the death of Dondi Antwan Nalls, according to a Thursday announcement from the Roseville Police Department.
Among the counts, Ighovojah is charged with committing first-degree premeditated murder for the benefit of a gang.
Roseville police reported that Ighovojah has been in custody at the Moose Lake Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. He made his first court appearance on the murder allegations Tuesday.
Police responded to the 1400 block of Terrace Drive in Roseville shortly before 5:30 p.m. Sept. 23, 2017, after a report of shots fired and found Nalls on the ground outside an apartment building suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics were unable to save his life.
Police made a plea at the time for anyone with information about the shooting to call Minnesota Crime Stoppers.
Perry Early Williams III, 33, was also recently indicted on murder charges in Nalls’ death.
No further details about the shooting were included in the indictments.
