A woman was injured early Sunday when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a light-rail train in St. Paul, authorities say.
The crash happened at 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of University Avenue and Eustis Street, according to Howie Padilla, a spokesman with Metro Transit.
The driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Padilla said.
No one aboard the westbound Green Line train was seriously injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
“Right now we are in the process of reviewing any video, talking to any witnesses and trying to piece together exactly what happened,” Padilla said.
