- What would your top priorities be if elected? I would like to see a reduction of the illegal discharge of firearms in Ramsey County.

John Choi - What qualifies you to hold this position? I have a proven record in the most challenging of situations. I demonstrated innovative action in the areas of sex trafficking and sexual assault response, reformed drug laws and increased transparency and accountability in police shooting cases. I used my position to engage all of us to think about how we raise boys to end gender-based violence.
- What would your top priorities be if elected? Continue our Nation leading work in combating gender-based violence. Build trust in the justice system by ensuring our workforce reflects the community we serve, and engaging those most impacted by our efforts. Improve outcomes for youth by partnering with others to improve the juvenile justice system.
- What do you think is the primary role of government? The role of government is to serve the people on whose behalf we conduct our work, with special attention placed on those who are the most vulnerable and often forgotten like runaway kids, the mentally-ill and those who suffer from addiction. We must remain faithful to our laws and never abuse our power.
