A section of Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul will close temporarily this week to allow crews time to repair a sewer manhole.
The street will close between East Sixth Street and East Seventh Street starting at 10 p.m. Tuesday. It will reopen at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Access to parking ramps will still be accessible during that time, but Metro Transit buses will not run along the stretch. Buses will be detoured.
A steel plate is covering the manhole until it can be fixed.
