A man died after he was shot in North Minneapolis on Monday afternoon, according to Minneapolis police.
The incident took place on the 1400 block of Morgan Avenue North, where police responded to a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found a man critically injured in front of a residence, police reported.
The man was transported to Hennepin County Medical center, where he died about an hour later.
His identity has not been released.
Police believe the incident involved two people who knew each other. Officers located the suspect and also recovered a handgun at the scene.
The suspect was detained for questioning, police reported.
